Every ceremony is different, and so is every question. Here are some of the things people often want to know.
Don't see your question? Just ask.Within Calgary, ceremonies are typically $400–$450. Outside the city, including Canmore, Banff, and Kananaskis, fees are typically $600–$650. Simple graveside services may be available at a lower fee. You'll always have a clear, written quote after our first conversation.
My ceremonies are non-religious by default, but they're not anti-anything. If a particular reading, blessing, or tradition is meaningful to you or your family, we'll find a way to include it that feels natural, not pasted on.
Yes. For each wedding I obtain a Temporary Marriage Commissioner permit from the Province of Alberta. If you'd like, I can complete the permit application on your behalf as part of our planning. More about the permit →
Happily, across Calgary and the surrounding area. I'm available for Rocky Mountain destinations when requested, and travel is included in the out-of-city fee.
For weddings, three to six months is comfortable; less is workable when the calendar allows. For celebrations of life, I make myself available as quickly as the family needs, often within days.
Every ceremony begins with a conversation. I listen, gather the stories that matter, and craft something that feels natural and true. I'm happy to share an outline in advance, and I can make light revisions to ensure everything is accurate.
